Highlights
Generative AI (GenAI) has the potential to revolutionise the way we navigate complex and dense documents, such as laws and policy documents, turning vast information into concise insights and answers to specific questions.
Over the past six-months, team Climate Policy Radar has taken part in the first ever cohort of Google.org’s GenAI Accelerator, a programme supporting 20 non-profits from ten countries, developing high-impact for-good applications of #GenAI.
This week we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Accelerator Graduation and share our first prototype - ‘Queried’ - a generative AI tool that makes it easier to extract useful, actionable information from lengthy policy documents. We bring it into the world with great excitement - and great caution, care and sense of responsibility. Queried will be formally launched in coming weeks - see first comment for link and more details. As ever, we will want your brutal feedback (your support and love also welcome).
The accelerator graduation was part of Google.org's first ever Impact Summit - an opportunity to meet fantastic collaborators and trailblazers, learn and share, and even hear a key note from Elmo. Yup.
Huge thanks to the Google.org team for the support, training, and mentorship that made this work possible!

Stopping. Taking a breath. Looking into the horizon. Spotting owls, buzzards, and marsh harriers flying above, and pheasants and baby chicks roaming below. Breaking bread together. Painting silently. Playing board games (pretty loudly, tbh). Diving deeply and gently into ways of communicating better with each other. Team Climate Policy Radar finally went on our first ever offsite to the exquisite Elmley Nature Reserve and adored every moment. What a privilege to share time and space with this incredible team, and to build the strong, subtle bonds that allow us to do some great things together.
