Proud to be representing Tradin Organic this week at the Future Innovation Forum of Food & Beverage in Minneapolis, connecting with old friends, and making new ones. After working for 20 years in the organic food world, it is exhilarating to see the innovation in the last handful of years, and dedication to regenerative systems of farming amongst producers, policymakers, and brands. It is incumbent upon us, as members of collective supply chains, from seed planters, to consumers, to support regenerative practices. Regenerative is a philosophy that draws from indigenous wisdom that supports positive environmental, social, and economic outcomes; it is a system of practices that increase biodiversity, improve soil resilience, reduce risk, support small holder farms, and protect farm workers.
I stand with farmers, as they are the solution, and am thrilled to continue my work in the organic movement at Tradin Organic, whose agronomists consistently employ regenerative tools through our technical assistance. I was reminded, at a farmer panel at the conference, that our goal with farming is to regenerate life, which is an expression of energy. I am energized to spend another day as an important link in our food supply chains. I am committed to doing my part to ensure the life force in our food remains strong.
