Michelle Grant-Groves is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years in the early childhood education field.

She has held various roles including 0-8 Coordinating Officer at Oakland USD and Equity and Instruction Program Coordinator at San Francisco USD Early Education Department.

Michelle's educational background includes a BA in ECE Research and Policy from San Francisco State University and a Master's degree in P-3 Early Education from Mills College.

She is the founding Executive Director of the Center of Gravity, a STEM-based early education school, and the i3 Institute ECE Consulting Group in the East Bay.

Michelle is passionate about designing professional learning programs and events with a focus on racial equality and transformational justice.

Her educational philosophy emphasizes fostering scientific thinking in children to explore the invisible and make connections through research and hypothesis.

Michelle has been involved with organizations like Design in Mind (DiM), San Francisco State University, WestEd, and various roles within school districts and educational institutions.
