Cool AI Tools - Productivity   Dear Curious AI Reader - Today's post is about AI making your communications more productive.   My go-to tool for boosting my productivity is Grammarly. It's an AI writing assistant that I've relied on for years. Since I spend all day writing, Grammarly has become indispensable. English was never my favorite subject, and my writing skills were just average. Initially, I started using Grammarly to double-check my grammar and punctuation. One of the things I appreciate most is that each suggestion comes with an explanation. Since I was genuinely interested in improving my writing, I always made sure to read and learn from each suggestion. Since then, it has taken what used to be a painful task and made me a more confident writer.   Here are some ways I have used Grammarly:

  • I used to write emails for a C-suite leader, and it was crucial that they were flawless. Grammarly helped to ensure that the content sent out was perfect.
  • Other colleagues would write communications for my leader. I was the final reviewer of all communications for my C-Suite leader. When other colleagues wrote communications for my leader, it was my responsibility to ensure that it was well-written. I used Grammarly to catch all the small mistakes that people would make. It reduced a task that might take me an hour of manual checking and re-checking for correctness to just 15-20 minutes.
  • I use it to help write everything, including all of my posts (including this one), emails, resumes, etc.
  • Now, Grammarly has all sorts of nifty AI ways to improve my writing.

Grammarly will decrease the time it takes to write anything and make it better. https://lnkd.in/g66eAXxZ #Grammarly

Cool AI Tools - Science   Dear Curious AI Reader -   Today's post is about AI helping to detect heart attack risks. I absolutely love the idea of AI and data starting to identify things that humans can't see with the naked eye.    Scientists are praising a potential new AI technology for identifying individuals at risk of a heart attack within the next decade, calling it "game-changing". Developed by Caristo Diagnostics, the AI model detects heart inflammation that is not visible on CT scans. A pilot project supported by NHS England is underway at five hospital trusts. The technology is also being adapted to prevent strokes and diabetes and can detect invisible biological processes that precede heart blockages.   Patients undergoing routine CT scans have their scans analyzed by the AI platform CaRi-Heart, which detects coronary inflammation and plaque, with increased inflammation linked to higher cardiovascular disease and heart attack risks.   According to the study, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) estimates 7.6 million people in the UK have heart disease, costing the NHS £7.4bn annually. About 350,000 UK patients get cardiac CT scans each year. The Orfan study involving 40,000 patients found that those with coronary inflammation had a 20 to 30 times higher risk of a cardiac event in 10 years.    - AI Source - #TheAtlas https://lnkd.in/gDrXAtyU  - Original Article: https://lnkd.in/gWeDuT4D
