Highlights
Enjoyed hearing from playwright Susie Miller at the National Justice Forum on Sexual Assault dinner tonight organised by the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration. Great program today on the process of sexual assault complaints, understanding national consent laws, the trial process and trauma and neurobiological impacts of sexual violence.
It’s disturbing that what may be a criminal offence in NSW, may not be in Qld or WA. Seems like we are a long way off harmonisation of consent laws across the country.

Fantastic day strategic planning with our NSW Regional Women Lawyers Committee today in chilly Leura. Thanks to Catherine Henry for organising and all the team for trekking up here so we can map out 2024-2025 and beyond.
