Miguel Villarroel has held significant positions such as Professor of Penal Law at Santa Maria University and has been actively involved in various cultural, juridical, and humanitarian organizations in Venezuela.

Currently, he serves as the Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, showcasing his dedication to humanitarian work.

He has made substantial contributions to the Venezuelan legal profession, being part of crucial committees for the creation and formulation of Penal Codes, along with founding the Venezuelan Business Club.
