Highlights
I am utterly crushed to report the passing of Christos Perakis … entrepreneur, terrific human being and my longest dearest friend. Truly shocked to know you are gone.
For our Newport friends, we can share a million stories: being a Viking, late nights at Ocean View, your terrible taste in Metal, the beach and Ocean Drive. URI friends know your fraternity antics, limited interest in academics cuz of your ability to make money out of thin air (who imports calamari?) and early cigar passion. And the people you worked with saw your creativity in work, the humor you brought to the day-to-day and…of course…your ability to weave cigars into absolutely everything.
I am so terribly sorry to lose your bear hugs and laugh. America and her immigrant Greek sons & daughters lost a great man and father. My heart aches for your mom, sisters, son Matthew and your family & friends in Paros and Athens.
Wish we could have had one more stogey together.
Goodbye, Stos. Christos Anesti.
In advance of #FIA24, thrilled to work with EY leaders Stephane Lagut, Raman Ram & Nick Compton to publish this A&D supply chain risk article. Look forward to discussing at Farnborough International!
