It’s amazing how much pricing influences user behavior.

Last week I ran out of my @windsurf_ai prompts credit. I had an option to buy a flex credit, but $10 for 300 credits feels oddly unfair.

I decided to switch back to @cursor_ai for the first time in about a month. Cursor charges $20 for fast premium (thought I have the business account).

I still think Windsurf is a better product as of now and the $15 is a bargain for the value, but my feeling about the product changed a little because the pricing felt unfair. I think it would’ve been infinitely better had they charge more for better value upfront. This price structure feels like a little bit of nickel-and-dime their customers.

Curious to hear your thoughts.

It was great to hear about how the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) used the power of shared resources to migrate the agency blog into Drupal at the Drupal GovCon.

BLEN, Inc. (8a/SDVOSB/HUBZone)’s Henok Mikre along with Teresa Verigan, the USPTO Digital Strategy Branch Chief, and Lauren Emanuel, editor-in-chief and product owner of the Intranet, discussed how the team is able to coordinate and use resources efficiently to ship more. They also shared about best practices and lessons learned. It was a great session all around.

Our team is proud to have supported USPTO for the last decade and looks forward to continuing our partnership.

It was also great to see our friends at Forum One and Bixal at the event.

As always special thanks to Kirsten Burgard and the rest of volunteers to make Drupal GovCon happen year after year.
