Mike Kelar is a seasoned graphic designer who emerged from the esteemed graphic design program at the Ontario College of Art & Design. With a career spanning over two decades, Mike co-founded AmoebaCorp in 1996, a pioneering design studio, before joining forces with industry leaders in 2013 to establish Jacknife, a dynamic design-led agency.

Throughout his professional journey, Mike has contributed his distinctive blend of creative expertise and visionary guidance to high-profile projects for renowned brands such as Nike, Molson Coors, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Red Bull, Second Cup, Hudson's Bay, Weston, and Nestlé. His design philosophy transcends mere occupation, embodying a pervasive lifestyle element that resonates across international platforms.

A strong advocate for purpose-driven design, Mike emphasizes the vital role of integrity in the design process, viewing design as the essential conduit between practical functionality and human interaction. His noteworthy work has been featured in various prestigious publications in Canada, the US, Japan, Germany, and the UK, showcasing his global impact and recognition.

Rooted in his Finnish and Polish heritage, Mike's early exposure to the rich tapestry of Art & Design culture laid the foundation for his enduring passion in the creative realm. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mike holds personal milestones such as recording two albums, witnessing a legendary Johnny Cash performance, and earning the studio's longest hair award, further enriching his eclectic journey.
