Don’t Only Work in Higher Maturity Orgs
SIM - Capital Area Chapter (SIMCAC) hosted another great Tysons Enclave dinner last night at 2941 Restaurant. Our discussion started with some CrowdStrike resolution stories, which led into a discussion on incident response principles and best practices, and wrestling with the tension between an Incident Response Plan (IRP) that is too simple vs. too complex. We also heard some great stories of travel our attendees has enjoyed and are planning, and some great book recommendations including "Slouching Towards Utopia", "Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About the World", and "Three-Body Problem" series.
Thanks for our great attendees for the great discussion, including several new members Jim T., Peter Hanley, Jonathan Rokita, Bob Ferry, Bob McCarthy, Pablo D., Howard S., DAVID TAMAYO ∴, Kristanne Littlefield, and Kshemendra Paul!
Looking forward to our next enclave dinner! #SIM #SIMCAC @SIMEnclave #CIO #ITleadership #SIMCapitalAreaChapter Mark Taylor Lydia Sullivan, CAE
