Many who work in community management describe building open source communities as an art. Having the opportunity to work on over 30 projects seeking to kick-off, grow, or better maintain communities around their projects, we've found that a far more reliable approach to these issues is using scientific, evidence-based methods for understanding what resources and services make the greatest impact for any given project/community.

At FOSDEM, Stephen Jacobs and I spoke about the particularities of this method and how we at Open@RIT deployed this across many different types of projects. If you weren't able to catch it, you can now find the recording at https://lnkd.in/eizyt7Np
