As the co-founder of Bairro Shop, an innovative start-up, Milana plays a vital role in managing human resources and nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit within her team. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Milana has actively contributed to the “Capacitar para Proteger” project at the Instituto de Ciências da Saúde - Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Her background also includes significant experience in intensive care, particularly within nephrology at the Hospital de Santa Cruz. Here, she worked tirelessly within intermediate care units, demonstrating her ability to handle high-pressure situations with compassion and expertise.
Milana’s international perspective was shaped by her participation in the Erasmus+ program at Maison Medicale Namur in Belgium, where she further developed her clinical competencies in a diverse and multicultural environment. Her experience is complemented by her previous roles in obstetrics care at Hospital da Luz and mental health initiatives at Hospital Julio de Matos.
