Mindy B. Young is a passionate artist, educator, and advocate with extensive experience in film, theater, education, and advocacy.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of Utah, leveraging her creative background to inspire program development, foster connections, and enhance collaboration.

With a strong presence in the academic realm, Mindy has engaged both young individuals and adults in public speaking, performance, curriculum design, arts integration, and various initiatives at educational institutions like Southern Utah University, Utah Valley University, and other schools, businesses, and non-profit organizations.

A recipient of accolades such as Best in State for Teaching and a Coca-Cola Distinguished Educator, Mindy has shared her expertise as a guest speaker on platforms like 511 Talk and All Ears English, as well as at notable events such as the International TESOL conference and TEDx.

Moreover, she is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and applies her blend of creative, educational, and administrative talents in multiple roles at Equality Utah, contributing to the development of programs like the Business Equality Leader program with specialized Diversity and Inclusion training.

For over 18 years, Mindy has been actively involved in the production, direction, and performance of various events and shows, including noteworthy occasions like Equality Utah's annual Allies Dinners and Allies Gala, which have featured prominent figures like Tyler Glenn, Gloria Steinem, Chelsea Handler, and Billy Porter.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mindy's most cherished role is being a mother to five incredible boys.
