Miquel Martí is the CEO of Tech Barcelona, a private non-profit association founded in 2013 to strengthen Barcelona as a global technological and digital hub. Under his leadership, Tech Barcelona has grown to represent over 1,400 companies and more than 100 partner organizations, becoming a key player in fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration within the tech ecosystem of Southern Europe.135

Martí holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and an MBA from ESADE. His career includes significant roles such as Director of Finance and Operations at Biocat, Director of B·DEBATE International Center for Scientific Debate, and Head of the Barcelona office for AIDIT, a research and innovation accreditation agency.23

Since joining Tech Barcelona in 2013, Martí has focused on connecting startups with corporates, investors, and public institutions to catalyze innovation processes and attract investment. His efforts have positioned Barcelona as a leading tech hub in Europe.246
