I’ve recently started on a new project for Civic, to support the community and workforce engagement efforts of Ford Motor Company for their two new facilities -- Blue Oval City and Blue Oval SK -- in Tennessee and Kentucky. These two facilities will help Ford Motor Company embark on their new and critical chapter to revolutionize the way manufacturing happens locally. I’m so honored and excited to leverage the experiences I’ve had in the industrial, sustainable and environmental justice communities, along with my rural roots, in this effort.

Many parts of this current COVID #supplychains chapter remind us how supply chains are deeply interconnected and our current ways just won't cut it anymore. Much needs to be re-examined, but this article is a great reminder of ways to start envisioning a green future where industrial partners, workers and communities are not on the sidelines, but at the table. #urbanmanufacturing #essentialnyc
