Miriam Bensky

Miriam Bensky is a dedicated professional with a strong educational background in Development Studies and Women Studies, along with extensive experience in institutional development and program support.

Miriam holds a Master's Degree in Development Studies from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's Degree in Women Studies, Community and Environmental Planning from the University of Washington.

She currently serves as the Director of Institutional Development at HIAS, a role where she oversees strategic growth and partnerships for the organization.

Previously, Miriam held the position of Senior Institutional Development Officer at HIAS, demonstrating her expertise in fostering institutional relationships and securing funding.

Her experience extends to working as an Operations Officer in the Science of Delivery Team at The World Bank, where she contributed to optimizing program operations and efficiency.

Miriam has also served in various capacities such as Program Support Officer at International Medical Corps, Governance Specialist at The World Bank, and Director of Development at The Campaign for Camp Kalsman at Union for Reform Judaism.

Additionally, she has fulfilled roles including US Director of Development at Pardada Pardadi Educational Society, Researcher at Aman Trust, Development and Volunteer Program Assistant at JFS Seattle, and Institutional Development Intern at The Carter Center.
