😎 When you work in an industry with people who are as passionate about it as you are - you looking forward to summer Fridays - not because you get to clock out early but because you get to wrap up the week on a high every time!
🌅 5AM - Wake Up Get outside, Catch up on News and Emails.
☕️ 6AM - Meeting with Giles Denning MCIM from PerformX Live Planning for an incredible 2025 event with some great content in the months leading up.
💪 7:30 AM - Working out with TRX Training CEO, Jack Daly Jack Daly purchase TRX about 2 years ago and has transformed nearly every inch of the company while keeping the core values and offering of TRX. I knew that he was passionate about his own health and fitness - what I didn’t realize was what a beast this man is.
We started out with a cold plunge - that was set to 38 degrees. Jack casually plunged for 5 minutes. I lasted 22 seconds.
We proceeded to do mobility work, functional work, and Admiral Harward’s Ladder - 1 pull-up, 2 push-ups / 2 pull-ups, 4 push-ups and so on until we hit 10 and then worked our way down. Jack has taken this up to 24! You can find Admiral Harward’s workout on TRX.
📆 10:30AM - 4:30PM - More meetings on a few projects that we cannot disclose yet. Was supposed to meet with HYROX but travel outages as a result of the crowd strike issue caused for a change of plans. Who would have thought that in 2024 a “content” update would have the potential to be as disruptive?
🍸 5PM - Cocktails with Mark Mullett from obé Fitness Mark and the team at OBE have built an incredible platform for digital fitness that was already a success before the pandemic.
🚲 This Saturday morning, I am about to head out on a ride with another partner, Eric Bormel, out to Montauk.
This fabric of this industry is tight and close-knit because we all drive towards a common goal - to improve health outcomes for everyone.
Get out there. Spend time with exceptional leaders. Work on yourself while you are at it.
P.S - Clocking out early on a summer Friday (or any Friday) is also perfectly fine!
