She is a prominent figure in architectural design and automation, focusing on reshaping construction practices to enhance living standards, particularly addressing labor, material, and social sustainability.

Mollie is an accomplished author with notable publications such as 'Robotic Building: Architecture in the Age of Automation' and 'The Digital in Architecture: Then, Now and in the Future,' which have become essential readings in architecture education worldwide.

Apart from her entrepreneurial endeavors, she serves as an Associate Professor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where she co-directs the acclaimed AUAR Labs, recognized with the Architect Journal's Social Sustainability Award.

With a rich educational background, Mollie Claypool holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, an MA in Histories and Theories of Architecture from The Architectural Association, and a B.Arch from Pratt Institute.

She also contributes her expertise as a practising birthkeeper and Community Elder for Doulas Without Borders, advocating for vulnerable birthing individuals in the UK, all while balancing her role as a mother and nurturing her community through a shared allotment in Bristol, UK.
