Tropingo Foods

Under Taal's leadership, Tropingo Foods has grown to employ over 140 people, with a significant majority (120) being women. The company has an estimated annual turnover of $1.6 million. Tropingo Foods aims to add value to local produce, thereby creating market access for smallholder farmers and reducing crop wastage during harvest seasons.12

The company has also established an out-grower program that supports local farmers by providing training in finance and business management, ensuring they can participate effectively in the formal economy.2
