Mona Malone is a results-oriented leader with a passion for people, leadership, and community development, boasting over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Currently serving as the CHRO and Head of People & Culture at BMO Financial Group, one of North America's largest financial services organizations, Mona leads a global team responsible for driving the people & culture agenda for 45,000 employees worldwide.

Mona's expertise spans Human Resources, Learning, and Business areas, and she holds company-wide accountability for HR, Corporate Communications, Donations, Diversity and Inclusion, and BMO's corporate university - the IFL. Additionally, she is a key member of BMO's Executive & Operating Committee.

Recognized as an agile leader, Mona thrives on setting challenging goals, motivating teams, fostering innovation, and serving as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team. She takes pride in BMO's global leadership in employee engagement and diversity representation.

Committed to community service, Mona has been actively involved with youth-based charities for over two decades and has received the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award for her contributions.

Mona's educational background includes studying Business Administration and Management at the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Throughout her career, Mona has held various key roles at BMO Financial Group, including Chief Human Resources Officer, Deputy Head Human Resources & Chief Talent Officer, Regional Vice President Personal Banking, VP Leadership & Enterprise Learning, and more. She has also served in leadership positions at ePost, a joint venture between BMO and Canada Post, and gained experience in HR and Organizational Development roles at Ernst & Young Management Consulting.
