Yesterday was another historic day for the Community College of Aurora, as we signed an agreement with the Colorado School of Mines to develop the "Mines Academy at CCA." To support CCA's four new engineering degrees and advance our science transfer pathways, our students will now have direct admission into a public R1 research university focused on science and engineering.
Thank you, President Paul C. Johnson, Ph.D. of Mines, for joining us and the outstanding faculty of our institutions for making this partnership happen. A special "thank you" to Dr. Susan Young, Dean of Academic Success in STEM at CCA, for her leadership in steering this partnership. #Education #HigherEducation
