Morgan Lucas is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with honors from Duke University. Morgan completed his Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics with high honors at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Additionally, he pursued studies in Political Science and Economics at Penn State University.

Throughout his career, Morgan Lucas has held various significant positions in notable organizations. He served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office, where he played a vital role in upholding justice and enforcing the law. Previously, he worked as an Associate at Baker Botts and as a Litigation Associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. Morgan's legal acumen was further honed during his time as a Student Attorney at the Duke Children’s Law Clinic and as a Law Clerk in the Bureau of Special Prosecutions, specifically in the Sex Crimes Division at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

Apart from his legal roles, Morgan Lucas has been actively involved in various community and political initiatives. He has contributed as an Alumni Board Member at People For the American Way and as a Fundraising Consultant at Capital Strategies. He also gained valuable experience in political campaigning as a Field Intern for John Edwards for President, a Southern California Vice President at California College Democrats, and an Intern for Congresswoman Lois Capps. Additionally, Morgan showcased his leadership skills as the Founder and Director of Campus Kiva (now KivaU) at Kiva.org and as a Fellow at the Front Line Leaders Academy at People For the American Way. His political involvement further includes internships at Boxer for Senate and with Assemblyman Tony Strickland.
