Nachiketa Acharya is a climate scientist and expert in statistical and machine learning modeling for weather and climate sciences, specializing in subseasonal-to-seasonal (S2S) forecasting.13 He previously worked as a climate scientist at Columbia University's International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI), where he focused on improving the skill and usability of climate forecasts for sectors such as agriculture and water management.1
