I met Matt Dalio when we were both speaking at the World Governments Summit in Dubai earlier this year.

It's rare to find somebody else that intutively understands the incredible power games have for a medium of learning.

Most people I talk either quickly think of gamification ("choclate covered broccoli") or simply dismiss games as a waste of time.

Matt and his team at Endless have made it their life's mission to use game both as a medium and object of learning.

Matt's perspective is both powerful and unique! I hope you enjoy the interview with him as much as I did.

How do we make sure that LLMs are not just "digital duct tape" that actually prevents true paradigm shifts in #learning and #education?

In my latest interview with my former professor Chris Dede we leverage his unique vantage point of almost 50 years in #edtech to think more clearly about what's needed to push us beyond the current hype on #AI and education.

A poitn that particularly stuck with me was Chris' point on the importance of taking a process oriented approach to learning and to move from thinking about artificial intelligence to intelligence augementation.
