Nan Ellin

Nan Ellin is an accomplished academic with a strong background in Anthropology, Hispanic Studies, and Urban Design.

She received her Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Hispanic Studies from Bryn Mawr College, followed by a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Urban Design from Columbia University.

Throughout her career, Nan Ellin has held various key positions in academia, serving as a Professor of Urban Design and later as Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver.

She has also showcased her leadership capabilities as the Dean of the College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington and as the Department Chair of Urban Planning at the University of Utah.

Nan Ellin's expertise and experience in urban design, architecture, and planning have contributed significantly to the academic community and the field at large.
