The fire this time: Maybe my most dire screed as I think self-immolation & the campus Gaza War protests & how they fed into the ever-present scapegoating of words to avoid discussions we need to have & are doing our damnedest not to. he fire this time: https://lnkd.in/epHX38Vq

My latest cri de coeur: Is There a Journalism That Doesn't Love a War. Yeah, I'm sounding like a broken record because I despair at war's unbroken record. I imagine many of the journos who cover it despair too & yet the beat goes on & on & on. I don't want them to stop doing their essential & often brave work; I just want to shake up how we talk & think about war. https://lnkd.in/evsBKaxu (and I will never rewrite with AI, as suggested for this post!)
