Nancy Hertzog

Nancy B. Hertzog is a professor of Learning Sciences and Human Development at the University of Washington and the director of the Robinson Center for Young Scholars.23 She joined the University of Washington's College of Education faculty in the fall of 2010.2

Dr. Hertzog is an expert in gifted education, with a focus on early childhood gifted education and curriculum development.12 She earned her Ph.D. in special education from the University of Illinois, Champaign.2 Prior to joining the University of Washington, she was an associate professor at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she directed the University Primary School, a program for gifted preschool-age children, from 1995 to 2010.23
