Naseem Badiey is a distinguished political sociologist dedicated to understanding and addressing challenges faced by individuals and communities in a rapidly changing world.

With diverse experience in managing research projects in post-conflict environments and engaging with various stakeholders including armed combatants, political leaders, aid agencies, and vulnerable populations, Naseem has a rich background in driving meaningful change.

Apart from teaching at the university level and publishing articles and books, Naseem has also initiated an oral history project and produced a documentary.

Currently, Naseem is actively involved in managing research and evaluation programs as well as multi-stakeholder initiatives for a government agency, focusing on data-driven change management, risk assessment, qualitative research, and developing educational materials for inmates.

Naseem's academic journey includes studying Politics and International Relations, Development Studies, Video Installation, and Political Science at renowned institutions like the University of Oxford, San Francisco Art Institute, and University of California, Berkeley.

Having held roles such as Probation Specialist, Founder/Director of an oral history project, Assistant Professor, and Marketing Manager, Naseem Badiey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of political sociology.
