Natalie Groom is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in the field of international development, peacebuilding, and agroforestry.

She holds a Master of Science degree in International Development from the University of Birmingham, a Master of Arts in Peace and Reconciliation Studies with a focus on Peacebuilding from Coventry University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry from Bangor University.

Natalie has held various key positions in renowned organizations, including serving as the Country Representative at Swedish Red Cross, the Head of UN Darfur Fund Technical Secretariat at UNDP, and the Country Coordinator at Danish Red Cross.

Prior to these roles, she has worked in different capacities such as Consultant in the Nutrition Sector at UNICEF, Deputy Country Director at Concordis International, and Head of Office at Danish Refugee Council.

Her experience also includes roles like Field Coordinator at Nuba Mountains Programme for Advancing Conflict Transformation (NMPACT) under UNDP, Programme Coordinator at Concern Worldwide, and Community Forestry Officer at Skillshare International UK.

Natalie Groom started her career as a Research Assistant at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and the Forestry Research Institute of Malawi, showcasing her dedication to research and academia in the field of agroforestry.
