A childhood interest in personal development created my career.

What began as a fascination with how the mind works evolved into a love for leadership and team dynamics in the corporate world.

Growing up, my mother would buy my brother and me books on positive mental attitudes. Back then, self-help had a stigma - it was seen as something for people who needed “fixing.”

Today, we recognize the value of positive psychology. These books have gained a new status - it's now "cool" to be invested in personal development.

Even in my downtime, I rarely stray from these topics. It’s not just about personal growth - I genuinely love learning about leadership and team dynamics.

My lifelong curiosity about the human mind, which began with my exposure to these books, has naturally extended into my corporate career. It’s inspired an interest in how teams operate - why some thrive while others struggle.

This passion for understanding people and teams fueled my decision to start my own coaching business, which has become my life’s work.

If you’re struggling to find your passion, remember what your inner child loves. For me, it was personal development - embracing continuous learning so I would never stop growing.

I didn't choose Advant to be a catchy brand name.

I chose it intentionally to reflect the transformational journey my clients go on.

When I decided to transition careers, I was overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty. I turned to God, seeking guidance. During this period of introspection, the word "Advent" came to me.

In Christian tradition, Advent signifies the arrival, the beginning of a significant event.

Advent symbolizes taking a leap of faith, something I was doing by starting my new business. It represented the arrival of a new chapter in my life, a rebirth.

The word "Advent" evolved to "Advant," symbolizing my journey of becoming. "Advant" also signifies advancing - moving forward, progressing, and improving. This is the trajectory I set for my clients. Just as I was stepping into a new phase of life, I wanted my clients to also experience profound transformation.

Transformation is at the heart of what I do - guiding leaders to become better versions of themselves through coaching. I help them arrive at a new destination in both their personal and professional lives.

Leadership isn't static - it's about continuous progress. With integrity, trust, direct communication, inclusion, and accountability as core values, I commit to guiding leaders on their journeys to success.

Advant represents my growth, symbolizing my leap from fear to faith. It mirrors the transformation I witness in the lives of the leaders I coach.
