At last week's "Ready to Launch: Helping LGBTQ+ Founders Succeed” panel at the annual Lavender Law conference, one thing that stood out for me was how difficult it is for founders and funders to raise funds due to the current economic situation. One ray of hope is they are not alone and there are always people willing to help.

To wrap up my #NYTechWeek 2024, I go back to the very first event that kicked everything off: All Raise GP Breakfast with Caroline Hyde.

Every day, I have the pleasure of working with passionate entrepreneurs and driven investors. I don’t often see leaders in the #startup space like me: who are female. It was so meaningful to be in a room with visionaries and thinkers who happen to be women and who have already made a meaningful impact on the VC world.

This event was thoughtfully organized by Elana Berkowitz at SLS client Springbank and Hayley Bay Barna at First Round Capital. And special thanks to Caroline Hyde for the insights and pointers on acing a live TV interview. I look forward to continuing the conversation and learning more about these amazing leaders.
