WE DID IT! 🦁 Cannes Lions Creative Marketer of the Year! 🏆 Expand to read more ⬇

Congratulations to all the incredibly talented Unilever Brand and Agency teams that have made it possible (many are tagged in this post, to name a few!) through being awarded over 230 Lions over the last 14 years, many of those in the past 4 years!

Without doubt, this is all about the quality of the work and the people taking on the responsibility as marketers that trust, support and make big, bold creative work happen.

Personally, I am super proud of our teams commitment to the power of creativity to drive not only business results, but importantly, increase talent engagement and motivation, both internally and externally, helping diverse minds to unlock their creative potential.

I've witnessed the excitement, passion and pride of our brands and agencies in action - a healthy competitiveness that comes from playing to win, and having a lot of fun along the way!

In partnership with our marketing leadership, together we set out on a mission to build a strong, collaborative and passionate Creative Culture through dedicating time, effort and energy on delivering our 4 Creative Excellence program goals:

1️⃣ Educating effectiveness - when you know, you know! 2️⃣ Increasing ambition - when you believe, you can deliver! 3️⃣ Nurturing talent - when you have it, flaunt it! 4️⃣ Eliminating barriers - when there's hurdles, jump them!

Thank you to the Unilever Creative Council for their leadership, our worldwide Creative Community for their unwavering commitment, our super Brand teams and Agency Partners, our Global Marketing Academy for pushing us to Get on the Frontline, and everyone else who has helped to get us back on top!

Finally, thank you to Simon Cook and all the team at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for recognising Unilever this year.

Looking forward to the 2024 Cannes Lions festival, only 4 weeks to go! 🔜 🤞
