Nathan Day

CEO at LugBug & Cypress Development Group

Nathan Day is the inventor and former owner of LugBug®, an ergonomic baby car seat handle designed to improve carrying comfort. He launched LugBug in 2015 after dislocating his shoulder while carrying his daughter's car seat, which inspired him to create a more ergonomic solution. The product gained attention for its innovative design and was featured on Shark Tank in Season 10, where Nathan sought $300,000 for 10% equity but did not secure a deal. Despite initial sales success, LugBug struggled with production and inventory issues and eventually ceased operations by early 2024.123

Nathan Day has also held leadership roles in real estate development, including as CEO of Cypress Development Group and Co-Owner of Palo Brea Development. He has a background in Sociology and Political Science from Northern Arizona University and resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.4
