After another 8 wonderful years in the DRC, it's time for a new adventure. I am so thankful for the practical experience in economic development through 4 years leading the DFID-funded market systems development program ELAN RDC, followed by another nearly 4 years supporting USAID's Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment (CARPE) as a Private Sector Advisor. It has been incredible working with a team of dedicated conservation leaders like Melody M. Nicodeme Tchamou Toussaint Molenge Christian KALINDE RIZIKI KABWE Elodie Nsamba Adele Yadah Nsasi Myra Kadima Mario Mondélé Lucy Gibbon Diane Russell Andrew Tobiason so many more. Trying to find practical ways to implement market systems approaches and private sector engagement in order to reduce threats to the Congo Basin has been an amazing opportunity (and challenge!).

Now I'm on to a new challenge with DAI, working with the amazing team at Feed the Future Market Systems and Partnerships (MSP) to deliver transformational partnerships while building the evidence base of successful market systems activities and help development practitioners adapt programming where useful to incorporate market systems approaches. I'm excited to work in new geographies, learn about new companies and sectors, and work with a fantastic team to support the development of sustainable market systems.
