Highlights
Here’s my MS Ride 2024, by the numbers:
100 miles x 2, with beautiful weather both days. 1st across the line, both days (Note: it was not a race, but still…). 67 donors, and $5,743 in donations. $38,997 Williams Mullen team donations. $473,608.26 Total donations among over 400 riders.
It was, again, an honor to put my cycling to use in raising funds for the MS Society. At the rest stops and finish line, we were greeted by several people who live with the terrible effects of MS. The challenges they face getting through ordinary life make 100 miles on a bike seem like minor outing. With any luck (and more support), the speed of research will continue to escalate so that a cure can be found soon. In the meantime, our collective efforts are producing better diagnosis and management. We absolutely could not do it without you.
I hope your participation in “my” team inspired you. Of course, donations are still possible: https://lnkd.in/e5iADvFb
Cheers, Nathan
Tomorrow, we roll! The roster includes 465 riders, all to support the MS Society. While being on a bike almost always puts a smile on my face, this event warms the heart.
Here are the current numbers regarding your generous support: 61 donations for a total of $5,358. Wow. WOW! In cycling speak, this will give me several extra watts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
For anyone who has been putting it off, is inspired by the current numbers, or is only now seeing this, it is absolutely not too late to donate. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/e5iADvFb
GO TEAM!
