Nathan Sharkey is an accomplished Oil and Gas leader with a rich background spanning over two decades in the industry.
Between 2010 and 2014, Nathan held the position of Drilling Superintendent at Suncor Energy, where he showcased his expertise and leadership.

In 2002, Nathan transitioned into the role of Field Superintendent and Safety/Operations Manager at Western Lakota Energy Services, Absolute Safety Management, and Iroc Energy Services, showcasing his versatility and managerial acumen.
During 2001 and 2002, he delved into Safety Management, Human Resources, Aboriginal Relations, and Career Development at Western Lakota Energy Services, expanding his expertise beyond drilling operations.
Nathan possesses a wide array of drilling experience, including Delineation, Exploration, Horizontal, Under-balanced, S-Curve and Build and Hold Directional, SAGD, CSS, and Infills, highlighting his depth of knowledge in various drilling techniques.
Moreover, his drilling fluid experience encompasses NAF, Polymer, Silicates, and Gel Chem, showcasing his proficiency in different drilling fluid types.
Apart from his operational roles, Nathan has entrepreneurial experience through Sharkey Consulting Services, a venture he established in 2001, demonstrating his business acumen and consultancy skills.
He also ventured into Absolute Safety Management from 2004 to 2005, focusing on COR Auditing, PITS/ENFORM Instruction, and Business Development, further diversifying his skill set.
