Nathaniel Teichman is an accomplished startup leader with a diverse skill set encompassing business development, strategy, operations, and fundraising, backed by an MBA from Columbia Business School and strong technical expertise acquired in top management consulting and finance roles.

Throughout his career, Nathaniel has been pivotal in the early stages of multiple startups, contributing to their growth and success by actively engaging in various capacities to drive business objectives. He excels in both high-level strategic decision-making and hands-on operational tasks.

At Voltus, Nathaniel plays a key role in collaborating with customers and partners to develop a distributed energy platform that aligns with the evolving landscape of energy consumption and production.

During his tenure at Master & Dynamic, Nathaniel led the B2B business unit, forging substantial partnerships with renowned brands such as Leica, Louis Vuitton, and JetBlue. He was instrumental in shaping and executing the firm's strategy, overseeing M&A activities, and managing investor relations.

As the COO of Ense, Nathaniel was instrumental in navigating the startup's growth trajectory. He successfully spearheaded fundraising efforts, raising significant capital from respected venture capitalists and angel investors. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in designing strategic frameworks and establishing operational functions to facilitate company expansion.

To drive societal impact, Nathaniel utilized Ense's technology to create Stance, an innovative app enabling citizens to engage with their elected representatives. This initiative garnered substantial traction, with Stance amassing over 50,000 users within its initial month of launch and receiving notable media coverage.

Nathaniel also contributed to the establishment of Grasshopper Bank, a pioneering digital bank catering to the business and innovation sectors. His efforts in preparing operational groundwork, orchestrating a successful launch strategy, and securing substantial funding were instrumental in positioning the bank for growth and success in the financial landscape.

With a background in management consulting at Kearney and experience at State Street Corporation, where he ascended to the role of Assistant VP within the Strategy and Transformation division, Nathaniel has honed his expertise in financial modeling, strategic advisory, and operational efficiency.

Currently serving as an advisor to Ward's Manufacturing, a metal fabrication company focusing on eco-friendly industries, Nathaniel is also engaged as a Climatebase Fellow, showcasing his commitment to environmental advocacy and sustainable business practices.
