Nazila Vali is a highly experienced development professional with a strong background in private sector development, strategy and policy advisory, political advocacy, and programme management.

With over a decade of experience, Nazila has focused on impact, knowledge management, strategic partnerships, and social and economic development, particularly in gender equality and women's economic empowerment.

She has a proven entrepreneurial spirit, excelling in innovative thinking, implementing new ideas, and fostering groundbreaking partnerships in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Having worked and lived across various regions in Europe, Asia, and Africa, Nazila possesses a deep understanding of the United Nations system and Inclusive and Sustainable Business.

Her academic qualifications include a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Geneva, an MSc in International Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, and a CAS in Gender and Development from The Graduate Institute, Geneva – IHEID.

Currently serving as a Partnerships Officer specializing in Private Sector Advocacy and Innovative Partnerships at UNICEF, Nazila Vali's expertise and skills span across a wide range of developmental areas, making her a valuable asset in the field of international development.
