🚀 We’re hiring for one of the most important roles I’ve ever recruited for: Head of Marketing at Strider.

This is a unique opportunity to own B2B marketing at Strider, helping US-based tech companies find, hire, and retain top software developers from Latin America.

With over 35,000+ developers on our platform seeking high-paying, remote jobs with US companies, your mission will be to drive demand for the incredible network of talent we’ve built.

We’re looking for someone who deeply understands B2B marketing, particularly when targeting software engineering and HR departments.

This role is a blend of hands-on work and management. You’ll have access to internal, external, and freelance resources, but as a growing company, everyone needs to contribute individually at this stage.

You’ll work directly with me to develop and refine our strategy as we gather more data. While we expect the focus to be on content marketing and account-based marketing, we’re open to exploring other strategies.

Strider is a fast-growing, remote-first company with a talented team spread across Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Spain. We’re well-funded, led by a serial entrepreneur with prior exits, and we’re operating in a rapidly growing market.

This is your chance to join us at a critical growth stage and make a significant impact—not just on Strider, but on the careers of thousands of developers across Latin America.

👉👉 Interested? Link to the JD & to apply in the comments. I will personally review all submissions.

Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions!

Like many devs, I enjoy the thrill of a YOLO deploy on my personal projects and local machine.

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of updating npm or brew packages just to see what happens.

If everything works, great! If not, I simply revert or spend hours fixing the self-inflicted bug.

However, when it comes to professional projects, especially those with tens of thousands of users like Strider, I try to avoid risky deploys by thoroughly testing everything I ship.

Despite all the testing, I've still sent bugs into production before (who hasn’t?), but thankfully, none have been notable or newsworthy like today's botched deploy by Crowdstrike.

Software development is challenging, so I definitely feel for the dev team that pushed the bug out today that's crashed half of the digital world.

Curious to hear from other devs - what's the worst bug you or a teammate has shipped?
