Ned Taleb is a celebrated entrepreneur known for co-founding and leading multiple successful ventures, such as Reailize and B-Yond, along with being involved in other companies like Yuvo, AuDela, and 7 previous businesses that achieved notable exits to Nasdaq unicorns.
During a challenging upbringing in a war-torn region, Ned experienced personal hardships including the destruction of his house and the kidnapping of his father. Despite these adversities, he pursued the American Dream, starting his first business in a modest setting during the 2001 Global Recession.
Ned's entrepreneurial journey spanned two decades, where his bootstrapped companies not only flourished, creating thousands of jobs, but also amassed revenues in the billions. Recognized as an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, he actively engages in mentoring and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, serving as an angel investor, incubator, and sitting on judges panels for entrepreneurship competitions.
An accomplished polyglot, Ned is fluent in 4 languages and sings in 10, leveraging music to bridge cultural divides. Beyond business, he finds joy in performing classical and flamenco guitar concerts, participating in opera recitals, and pursuing excellence in the art of coffee as a skilled barista and roaster.
With a solid educational background, Ned holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from McGill University, further enhancing his leadership skills through programs like High Impact Leadership at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communications from the American University of Beirut, complemented by his studies in Classical Guitar at the National Conservatory of Music.
His active involvement in various organizations such as PROADVISERS GESTION 2017 SL, Reailize, B-Yond, Yuvo, and others showcases his versatile expertise in leadership and innovation. As a former adjunct professor at IE Business School, Ned imparts his knowledge on Serial Entrepreneurship and Bootstrapping to MBA students, embodying his passion for sharing insights with the next generation of business leaders.
