Nettrice Gaskins

Dr. Nettrice Gaskins holds a Ph.D. and has a diverse educational background, including a Doctor of Philosophy from Georgia Institute Of Technology, a Master of Fine Arts from the School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics from Pratt Institute.

With a wealth of experience in various organizations, she currently serves as the Content Manager at The Fab Foundation. Her previous roles include being the Scopes-Df Program Manager at The Fab Foundation, Arts Writer at Art21, Inc., Steam Education Lab Director at Boston Arts Academy, and more.

Throughout her career, Dr. Gaskins has also held positions such as Critical Writing Fellow at Recess Art Gallery, Digital Steam Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution, Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute Of Technology, and Instructor at Georgia Institute Of Technology.

Her vast experience extends to roles like Teaching Artist at Artscience Labs, Youth Media Expert at Adobe, Adjunct Faculty at Massachusetts College Of Art And Design, and Digital Art Learning Specialist at Massachusetts College Of Art And Design.

Additionally, she has been involved in leadership positions, having served as the Director at Commonwealth Broadband Collaborative, Board President at the National Alliance For Media Arts And Culture, Director at Bnn, and Executive Director at Somerville Community Computing Center.
