Watching the events in #Ukraine unfold is truly horrific. I've not been using Linkedin much recently but the premise of 'silence only emboldens the aggressor' applies now more than ever.

The invasion is a flagrant violation of international law and a desperate act by a dictator that is slowly losing his grip on power. With approximately over 3 million people being forcibly displaced and a Ukrainian child becoming a refugee at the rate of 1 per second, the situation really does look dire.

The growing and continued unity that exists between those who vehemently oppose the invasion, will ultimately pile on the pressure that leads to further sanctions, support for those that have been displaced and a global narrative for contributing aid; in all its forms.

Whilst I'm aware that my words, alone, will do little to deter Putin from his campaign, as part of a much larger collective there is power in standing together and expressing solidarity

Not really one for posting much about myself but I'm hoping my network can help answer a question I've been asking myself, please?

Yesterday I posted this response on a connections status. His post was about Founders often having to sacrifice, long before their companies get to the point of benefitting others. The post concluded with whether people held this assumption to be true.

Does anyone have a framework they can offer for dealing with a situation where all the options seem like the 'right' thing to do but to commit to one means losing the others? I suppose, from experience, it comes down to how you feel once a decisions been made? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
