Nicholas Pesta is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background and diverse work experience in the fields of public policy, engineering, and energy.

He holds a Master of Science in Public Policy, with a focus on engineering, from the Goldman School of Public Policy. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nicholas has held key roles at renowned organizations, including his current position as an Associate at RMI. He previously served as a Lead Analyst at Catalyst Off-Grid Advisors, gaining valuable insights into energy-related projects.

His professional journey also includes a notable stint as an Energy Policy Analyst Intern at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley's Division of Data Sciences.

Nicholas has a strong engineering background, demonstrated through his roles as an Energy Engineer at Advanced Solar Products, Inc., an Engineering Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, and a Product Engineering Intern at John Deere.

Furthermore, he has actively contributed to meaningful projects during his time as an Americorps Member at Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia and as a Student Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania's GRASP Lab, showcasing a commitment to community service and academic research.
