The fundraising campaign to build a statue of VIDA GOLDSTEIN is officially underway. PLEASE DONATE: Using the QR CODE or https://lnkd.in/g8bvkcTc

We are raising funds for the statue through public subscription, which is how most of the old statues of Melbourne were paid for. 💜

Of the 581 statues in Melbourne just 11 are of women. If you want our nations civic landscape to be more inclusive then please support this campaign. It is time we recognised the great women who helped build our nation.

VIDA GOLSTEIN was an absolute world champion for women’s rights and democracy! I am so delighted to be supporting this campaign.
