Nicholas Treleaven is a professional with a diverse background in the aerospace and automotive industries. He has pursued his education across various countries, holding multiple Master of Science degrees in Turbulence from institutions like ENSIP, ISAE - ENSMA, Ecole centrale de Lille, and a Master's Degree in Gas Turbine Aerodynamics from the University of Cambridge. He also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Loughborough University, specializing in the Acoustic Response of Swirl Sprays for Combustion Instabilities in Gas Turbines. Nicholas has worked at prestigious organizations such as CERFACS, Technische Universität Darmstadt, and Rolls-Royce, where he held roles ranging from Research Engineer to Software Developer. With expertise in areas like experimental fluid mechanics, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, computational fluid dynamics, reduced order models, thermo- and aero-acoustics, and high-performance computing, Nicholas is currently engaged in research involving two-phase flows, sound generation mechanisms, and hydrogen combustion utilizing tabulated and AI methods.
