🎉 Two big announcements from Sunnyside today!
I'm excited to share that we've raised an $11.5M Series A, and have hired Steve Lloyd, former Chief Product and Technology Officer at Strava, to join us in the same role.
With this new capital and our growing leadership team, we've never been better positioned to change the conversation around alcohol and wellness, and to have a massive positive impact on millions of lives in the process.
When Ian and I started Sunnyside 3.5 years ago, we connected over the idea that the way we manage alcohol in the context of our health is completely backwards. We'd both experienced firsthand that when we wait until drinking becomes a huge problem in our lives before we do anything about it, it's often too late.
It's been our mission from day one to make managing alcohol consumption as common as managing diet, exercise and mindfulness as a part of our proactive wellness routines. To do this, we've developed a program that's positive, non-judgmental, and focused on balance rather than an all-or-nothing approach. And it's resonating.
Our opportunity is to activate millions of regular drinkers on the path to a more mindful relationship with alcohol. We're just getting started, but the future has never been brighter.
If you'd like to be a part of the journey with us, reach out! We're hiring 🙂
