It has been a busy four months in my new role at North Atlantic Ship Repair. I have:
- closed five months of activity (soon to be six) including reorganizing and adding increased efficiency to our reconciliations
- restaffed my department after multiple for cause terminations… John Leahy I couldn’t be more excited to have you join the team!
- dealt with two employees having medical issues (one being a direct report)
- reworked our payroll process to be able to more efficiently get information to our organizational decision makers
- helped manage our corporate audit toward completion
- developed internal budgets for tracking of internal capex projects
- documented our CBA for payroll processing implications
- enhanced my teams understanding of HR laws and policies to enable better performance from this department
And most importantly I have yet to miss a single dinner with the family!
