GA4 has just released a new counting method for Conversions. Up until now, GA4 has counted conversions once per event. With this update you have the option to choose once per session, which is the counting method used by Universal Analytics Goals. This is a really nice development and definitely reflects the needs of many website owners. This change is live and if you want to switch to "once per session" you can make that adjustment in your GA4 property now folks!
