As the largest African quick service restaurant (QSR) chain, Simbisa operates over 500 stores across nine countries, managing 100,000s of deliveries every month through Leta.
Having achieved exceptional results with Simbisa in the Kenyan market, we had an opportunity to expand with them into Zimbabwe.
However, Zimbabwe, as with most African countries, has serious issues with slow internet connectivity, even in urban areas. To ensure client satisfaction, our engineering team had to innovate.
We developed an offline mode that allowed restaurants such as Chicken Inn, Gallitos, and Pizza Inn to operate effectively without a strong internet connection.
So, even when Simbisa’s delivery agents don’t have an internet connection they can still see directions to the customer, update the status of the order, and even take photo proof of delivery! Ensuring every one of your KPIs are recorded, so you are able to track your improvements and progress.
