Nick McGirl is a distinguished individual who has co-founded and spearheaded several global organizations, partnerships, and communities focusing on social innovation and education.

He is renowned as the co-founder of ChangemakerXchange, a prominent global community of young social entrepreneurs, as well as the co-initiator of 'The Possibilists', a comprehensive study involving 1,000 young changemakers and a coalition of 15 youth social innovation organizations.

Nick played a pivotal role in the revival of Ashoka in Turkey and the establishment of an alliance of organizations dedicated to revolutionizing education in the country. Additionally, he spearheaded the development of an online platform showcasing best practices in education that foster 21st-century skills.

His noteworthy contributions include collaborating on pioneering social impact bonds for young offenders in London with Catch22 and contributing to the inaugural pilot of the International Citizen Service, a flagship initiative of DFID in the UK engaging disadvantaged youth in international development.

Nick McGirl holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Psychology with a 2:1 grade from the University of East Anglia.

His professional journey includes roles such as Co-Founder at ChangemakerXchange, previous positions at Ashoka, VSO, Catch22, and experience as an English Language Teacher and Social Program Organizer at Rose of York.
